June 6 in Nizhny Novgorod within the framework of the Global Digital Forum at CIPR2025, the Russian Software Products Association «Russian Software» and GAAN (Group of Algerian Digital Actors) signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The document was signed by Renat Lashin, Executive Director of the RSPA "Russian Software" and Abdelouahaba Gaoua, President of the Group of Algerian Digital Actors.
The Parties agreed to facilitate the establishment of joint ventures for the development of IT and IS products based on Russian technologies, followed by export to the Algerian market and African countries.
The industry associations intend to contribute to the development of local production, jointly form a technological basis for strengthening the digital sovereignty of Algeria, and also exchange experiences on legislation and standardization in the IT field.
It is also planned to hold industry sessions and face-to-face meetings of Russian and Algerian IT companies.
Sustainable cooperation is not based on one-off deliveries of products, but on the joint creation of value - through localization, exchange of experience, integration of knowledge and technology. The signed memorandum opens up opportunities for launching joint ventures where Russian IT and IS competencies can be adapted and scaled. This is an example of a mature, pragmatic partnership based on trust, long-term goals and understanding of digital sovereignty as a common value», said Renat Lachin, Executive Director of the RSPA "Russian Software"
«Today, Russia and Algeria are more than ever necessary to each other for cooperation in the field of information technologies, and above all - information security», - stressed the president of the GAAN Abdelouhaba Gaoua.
